- Founded in 1971, the Grand Rapids Campus is one of the original community campuses established by Michigan State University College of Human Medicine
- The campus administers its program through the Grand Rapids Medical Education Research Center for Health Professions (GRMERC) and the Office of Student & Academic Services, which includes the Visiting Student Program.
- The Grand Rapids Campus has a long and rich tradition of outstanding programs in graduate medical education. Our residency programs date back to 1900's
