Didactics
Didactics with an average of five hours per week of protected time for high quality educational experiences:

  • Weekly reading club covering chapters from Tintinalli. Monthly written quizzes are used to test retention
  • Monthly Journal Club- held monthly in faculty members' homes to critically appraise current EM literature through an evidence-based medicine approach.
  • Monthly Procedure Competency Lab
  • Monthly EKG with Cardiologist
  • Monthly Morbidity and Mortality review
  • Conference covering the model for Emergency Medicine (residents protected time)

ACLS, ATLS, and PALS provided.
