Ulrich Duffner, MD
Medical School: University of Freiburg, Germany Hi, I'm Uli Duffner and except for some trips to the Himalayas I lived the first 38 years of my life mostly in a circle of 2 miles in my hometown of Freiburg, Germany. This began to change in 2000 when I went to Ann Arbor, MI for a research fellowship. There I did research on Graft versus Host Disease and much more importantly I met my wife, Debbie. In 2003 we moved back to Germany and 2 years later our son Noah was born. In 2005 we decided to move back to Michigan and I began my residency at DVCH. In 2008 I will start a pediatric hematology/oncology fellowship. After the fellowship I plan to do again what I did in Germany: pediatric bone marrow transplantation. |
