The Transitional Year Residency Program is jointly sponsored by the Internal Medicine and Emergency Medicine programs, which provide the components for the Transitional Year education. The Transitional Year Program is directed by a full-time board certified internist and is staffed by over 100 full and part time faculty comprised of internists, general surgeons, family practitioners, and specialists who provide a rich and varied clinical and academic experience to the residents.
