The Grand Rapids/Michigan State University Vascular Surgery Fellowship was initiated in July 2003. This one-year ACGME accredited fellowship program was designed to train General Surgery board-eligible candidates who desire additional specialization in the field of peripheral vascular and endovascular surgery. Our vascular fellows spend the majority of their time in the new Fred and Lena Meijer Heart Center at Spectrum Health-Butterworth Campus, located in downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan. Dr. Mansour is the Program Director and he is assisted by 6 vascular surgeons, all fellowship trained. Fellows work closely with the faculty mentors, and each fellow has the opportunity to develop knowledge and skills required to become well rounded and proficient in the specialty of vascular surgery.
