We invite you to take some time and explore our web site, which explains the vision behind the Medical Education and Research Center and the many services and programs it provides.
In 1999 Grand Rapids' major health care providers joined forces with two Michigan universities to form a new consortium to enhance the health of the Grand Rapids community through the integration of clinical research, medical education and health professions education.
The consortium is composed of Saint Mary's Health Care, Spectrum Health, Michigan State University and Grand Valley State University and is called the Grand Rapids Medical Education & Research Center for Health Professions.
