Responsibilities:
Support and promote the mission and vision of GRMERC in all activities. Support and promote the residency programs with leadership, resources, and direction in the areas of:

  • ACGME General Competencies, Outcome Project, and accreditation compliance.
  • Residency Reviews (internal and external)
    • Assistance with PIF preparation
    • Participation on Internal Review Committees
  • Residency Curricula and Assessment System development
  • Development of new teaching and assessment methods (e.g. simulation, portfolios)
  • Provide educational and professional development to Program Coordinators and other Staff
  • Faculty development (Program Directors and other faculty)
  • Educational research
  • Support, coordination and content development of annual organizational events (e.g. Residency Orientation, Research Day)

Qualifications:
Masters degree, MD, or Ph.D. in health related field or equivalent education/work experience. Experience in education and administration. Experience in both private and public sector. Understanding of stresses and changes occurring in American healthcare and their impact on health care professions. Ability to deal with a high degree of ambiguity. Ability to innovate. Ability to think, collaborate, plan and implement in an interdisciplinary way. High degree of emotional intelligence. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work successfully with multiple stakeholders.
